Job summary

Samsung Electronics is seeking a highly skilled network engineer to coordinate field acceptance testing for 4G/5G software releases and new solutions. You will manage resources, track deliverables, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.

The role involves hands-on analysis of network performance, collaboration with Network Engineering and Operations for RF configurations, and delivering clear guidance to project management and customers.

Qualifications

• 6 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in LTE/5G performance projects.
• Experience in the wireless industry with LTE/5G deployments and testing.
• Familiarity with 3GPP Core and RAN, hardware/software architecture, and RF concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with a team of technical staff for field acceptance testing and new solutions.
• Plan resources, assign tasks, track deliverables, and manage risk to meet product deliverables.
• Analyze network performance issues and develop solutions to optimize air interface and call processing.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Operations on antenna and RF configuration and parameter databases.
• Present budget, milestones, and deliverables to project management; ensure milestones are met within budget.
• Educate customers on new Samsung products and services; support rollout with SEA and HQ teams.
