The engineer will develop product requirements, perform system and performance analysis, and lead cross-functional efforts to introduce Samsung wireless solutions to carriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS; advanced degree is a plus.
• 8+ years in wireless industry required.
• Deep knowledge of 5G concepts (Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, new waveforms).
• Experience with 3GPP Rel-16/17 features.
• Strong knowledge of 5G/4G air interface and RAN architectures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate to system requirements.
• Conduct performance analysis and evaluate new product/SW releases.
• Analyze 4G/5G call protocols and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and craft compelling solutions.
• Communicate technical design between sales and carrier networks.
• Educate customers on Samsung products and ensure commitments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product rollouts.
• Lead and mentor the team as a systems architect.
• Travel sporadically during projects.
