The Senior Systems Architect is a senior-level position within IT Operations, responsible for designing, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise IT systems, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. The role involves collaborating with vendors and internal teams to implement new technologies and upgrades, troubleshooting complex issues, and participating in disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with firm departments using enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to plan and implement new systems and upgrades.
• Research and ensure systems adhere to best practices in technology, security, and governance.
• Work with IT staff on technologies like VMWare, clustering, load balancing, and DMZ.
• Mentor team members and assist with troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and understand its implications.
• Assist in planning the department's annual budget.
• Document system operations and transfer knowledge to end-users.
• Identify training needs and essential skills for team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Linux, or vendor-specific are a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Apache, clustering, load balancing, SQL Server, and VMWare.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and excellent communication abilities.

The role offers a competitive salary range ($142,500-$228,050 in Boston, Chicago, D.C.; $149,300-$238,900 in New York), comprehensive health benefits, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
