Job description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Senior Systems Architect. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish system information requirements through analysis for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
2. Design system architecture, including software, hardware, and communications, to meet current and future needs.
3. Ensure system compatibility and compliance with open systems architecture standards, including OSI, ISO reference models, and IEEE OSE.
4. Align system architecture with Agency enterprise architecture and reference models.
5. Analyze and resolve workflow, organizational, and planning issues through systematic evaluation and corrective action.
6. Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 8 years
2. Design, engineer, build, test, and deploy cloud service offerings for new and existing cloud architectures.
3. Conduct enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
4. Apply advanced business and technical principles to solve complex technical challenges.
5. Experience in architecting, designing, engineering, integrating, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions.
6. Implement security controls within cloud environments.
7. Knowledge of Microsoft, IEEE, or similar standards and areas.
