Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Sr Systems Analyst to support the Producer and Compensation Solutions team in Newport Beach, CA. The role involves enabling producer onboarding, compensation, licensing, and credential validation while partnering with business and technology teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

You will work on multiple platforms covering commissions, bonus programs, data management, agency hierarchies, and servicing operations within the Consumer Markets Division.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems analysis or business analysis experience in insurance, distribution, compensation, producer management, or financial services platforms.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of producer lifecycle processes including contracts, licensing, appointments, commissions, and credential management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for commissions, bonus compensation, credential validation, contracts and licensing, and producer servicing capabilities.
• Translate complex business processes into system-ready requirements, workflows, rules, and specs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding, licensing, appointments, compensation processing, and exception management.
• Ensure technology solutions align with regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Collaborate across Advisor Services, Distribution, Compliance, Operations, Product Management, and IT to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support platform modernization, product launches, and automation initiatives.
