Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Systems Administrator in Aurora, CO to join a fast-growing team supporting a secure federal environment. You will manage servers, networks, and software across stand-alone and secure government networks, handling Tier III escalation and problem resolution with emphasis on uptime and security.

You will coordinate with OEM/vendor teams, maintain inventory and downtime records, and train staff on tools.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation point coordinating with OEM/vendor support preferred.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Windows Administrator, MCDE and LCP preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's in IT/CS or equivalent; 8 years direct relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI poly

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III support for maintaining a secure environment across servers, computers, software and devices.
• Troubleshoot application functionality, performance, and incidents; improve user experience.
• Coordinate with external teams to resolve Linux/Windows/Apple software issues.
• Maintain records of downtime and equipment inventory; train staff on software/hardware use.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system and processes; participate in special projects as required.
• Ensure stable operation of servers, computers, software, and network connections; analyze and resolve connectivity issues.
