Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator Senior with TS/SCI clearance to support INSCOM in Anchorage, Alaska.

The role involves installing, maintaining, and securing desktop and server systems, monitoring networks, and providing Tier1/2 support under demanding government contracts. The ideal candidate has extensive experience (8+ years) in IT systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on-site in support of critical missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of related specialized experience in lieu of degree
• 8+ years of related experience with at least 4 years in specialized IT roles
• TS/SCI security clearance required
• DoD8570.01‑M IAT Level II / 8140 CE Certification required prior to support
• Must obtain AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems
• Provide Tier1 and Tier2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage IT system infrastructure including client/server/storage/network devices
• Support day‑to‑day IT operations and monitoring
• Assist with security and compliance requirements
• Support on-site deployments and customer communications
