Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Alaska is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and secure enterprise IT operations.

You will perform day-to-day server administration, access control, patching, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with security policies and SLAs. On-site at Eielson AFB, you will collaborate with the security team and vendors.

Candidates need 1+ years of related experience, a Secret clearance, and DoD 8570 compliant certifications such as Security+ CE.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience
• Must meet DoW 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT II access with Security Plus CE
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and collaborative skills
• Security Clearance Level: Secret

Responsibilities

• Manage functionality and efficiency of computers running on one or more operating systems
• Execute day-to-day management and operations of systems and networks
• Manage COTS & GOTS products to collect, display and remediate a variety of automated system security and system operations/performance functions and metrics
• Follow Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain the service; build TTPs and SOPs
• Operate monitoring tools and SIEM to create/tailor complex event alarms and reports
• Assist in analyzing technical risk and emerging cybersecurity tools and processes
• Work as part of a security incident response team as needed
• Maintain systems to meet Enterprise Service Availability and SLA requirements
• Utilize ITSM principles to troubleshoot and resolve incidents
• Maintain system security and compliance with security policies
