Job summary

Kaizen Approach, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support complex IT systems in a secure government environment.

You will manage infrastructure across client, server, storage, network, and mobile systems, providing Tier 1–3 support and coordinating escalation to agency management and internal customers. The role requires configuring UNIX, Linux, and Windows OS, installing software, and implementing enhancements to improve performance.

Qualifications

• : Provide comprehensive support for IT systems implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a government environment.
• : Perform Tier 1–3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution with escalation coordination.
• : Manage accounts and ensure ICAM-compliance across IT assets.
• : Implement system security controls, vulnerability scanning, and patching with documentation.
• : Configure UNIX, Linux, and Windows OS; install and maintain software; optimize performance.
• : Communicate system changes with ISSO/ISO and support Change/Configuration Management processes.
• : Require 20+ years SA experience with DoD 8570 IAT III, CE certs, ITIL 4, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–3 support for IT systems, including issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage server, network, storage, and workstation infrastructure for reliable operations.
• Configure and maintain UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments; install software and patches.
• Coordinate with ISSO/ISO on system changes and Change/Configuration Management.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize SOA interdependencies.
