Job summary

Wyetech, LLC in Maryland is seeking a highly experienced System Administrator to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems across client/server/storage/network devices. The role includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, UNIX/Linux and Windows administration, and network component configuration to improve reliability.

The ideal candidate holds DoD 8570-M IAT Level 2, TS/SCI with polygraph, scripting skills, virtualization experience, and familiarity with automation tools and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Ten years of System Administrator experience in相关 large-scale programs.
• DoD 8570-M IAT Level 2 certification required.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS with CLI proficiency.
• Experience with virtualization and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Assist users in accessing IT systems.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all devices.
• Escalate issues and communicate status to management.
• Optimize system operations, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
• Remain involved in resolution for dispatch hardware problems.
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting for IT systems.
• Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems, install software, troubleshoot, and enhance reliability.
