Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Systems Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, including server, storage, and network devices. The role ensures day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client environments.

The candidate will configure Linux/Windows/CentOS environments, manage virtualization, and collaborate using JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of system/network administrator experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 15+ years experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree or related equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Escalate issues and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure virtual, storage, and network components.
• Use Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, and ServiceNow for collaboration.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
