Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking a systems administrator to manage the infrastructure and networks supporting IT and business apps. You’ll implement security-first upgrades, patching, and monitoring across Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper‑V, and cloud solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with hypervisors, servers, and SQL, plus certification preferences and HIPAA/SOX familiarity. Strong teamwork, communication, and incident response skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on system administration and IT networking with firewalls and switches.
• Minimum of 5 years with Hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V) and Windows/Linux and SQL servers.
• Microsoft, Network and Hypervisor certifications preferred.
• Regulatory compliance experience (HIPAA/SOX) where applicable.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and harden servers and DCs.
• Configure and manage storage devices and databases.
• Monitor IT infrastructure for performance and anomalies.
• Manage cloud solutions and M365/O365 environment.
• Administer email filtering tools (Mimecast).
• Manage AD, AAD, GPOs and MDM solutions.
• Oversee backups (Veeam) and disaster recovery testing.
• Maintain security monitoring (EDR/MDR/XDR) and SOC readiness.
• Plan IP schema and VLAN segmentation across sites.
• Ensure GMP/FSMA compliance and SQF standards where applicable.
