Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience or degrees matching: 8 years with an associate’s, 6 years with a bachelor’s, or 4 years with a master’s.
• Specialized experience planning, implementing, and managing complex server and network infrastructures.
• Experience designing system architecture and administering virtualization and cloud environments.
• Experience managing security functions (firewalls, backups, system protection).
• Experience managing, installing, and maintaining network infrastructure and supporting environments.
• Experience mentoring junior technical staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage workstation configurations, diagnose LAN and OS issues.
• Ensure AIS compliance with IA standards and manage SharePoint for regulatory compliance.
• Design system architecture; administer virtualization (VMware, Linux) and cloud environments.
• Manage security functions, backups, and system protection measures.
• Visit USMC sites to upgrade, repair, and support IT equipment; identify automation opportunities.
• Automate routine tasks via scripting and configuration management tools.
• Maintain system documentation, configurations, SOPs, and change records.
• Coordinate with network, security, and application teams for infrastructure changes.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity; proactively resolve downtime.
• Perform backups, recovery operations, and disaster recovery testing.
