Job summary

Navstar Inc. seeks a senior Systems Administrator to support a large, distributed network with air-gapped systems and diverse domains.

You will install, configure, and sustain complex IT environments, ensuring security and uptime while collaborating with developers, testers, and engineers in a fast-paced setting. The role demands strong system administration, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, plus experience with Windows Server/AD, virtualization, and security controls.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8+ years of SA experience.
• Experience providing direct systems administrator support to end users and tech staff.
• Solid Windows Server/AD, security, virtualization, and backup expertise.

Responsibilities

• Install applications, administer systems, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Optimize server/desktop configurations for continuous, efficient operation.
• Perform security management and application performance optimization.
• Manage complex server enclaves, patching, cert renewals, and AD configs.
• Document complex server/network environments for rapid incident resolution.
• Coordinate with users and external teams on outages and upgrades.
