Job summary

nLogic is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support mission-focused efforts in the New River/Jacksonville, NC area. This role leads infrastructure operations, ensures availability, security, and reliability of enterprise systems, and collaborates with defense and tech partners.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and managing complex server and network infrastructures, integrating VMware, Linux, and cloud environments, and developing automation to improve efficiency. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with relevant experience or higher per job details.
• Experience planning, implementing, and managing complex server and network infrastructures.
• Experience designing system architecture and administering VMware, Linux, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage complex server and network infrastructures.
• Design and administer enterprise system architecture for VMware, Linux, and cloud.
• Manage system security functions including firewalls, backups, and protection measures.
• Develop automation scripts and operational efficiencies.
• Install, maintain, and support hardware, software, and application environments.
• Deploy and support secure LAN infrastructure.
• Ensure network connectivity and information system availability.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior personnel.
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
