Rippling, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Systems Administrator III to own the availability, security, and performance of our global infrastructure.

You will lead Windows Server and cloud platforms, with responsibility across US/UK/Australia regions, and partner with security, labs, and end-user teams. The role requires 7+ years of senior-systems experience, strong scripting, and a track record delivering reliable, compliant operations in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive systems administration with Tier 3 ownership.
• Experience supporting multi-site/global environments across time zones.
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, lab, life sciences) preferred.
• Strong scripting and automation mindset; customer-focused support.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments; Linux support in cloud and on-prem.
• Manage AD/Entra ID, M365, and cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Oversee virtualization, storage, and enterprise backups with DR planning.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents including lab infra.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation; lead end-to-end infra projects.
• Collaborate with regional teams across US, UK, AU for global changes.
