Job summary

Riverside Technologies Inc in the United States is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support end users, administer on‑premises and cloud systems, and help maintain secure, scalable technology infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot across Windows, Linux, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies, participate in an on‑call rotation, and engage in periodic travel while hands‑on installing server, storage, and network equipment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of IT administration or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop/server and Linux.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure services.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, wireless networking, and security concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; able to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, identity, access, connectivity, and system issues.
• Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software.
• Administer Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux environments.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint.
• Administer Azure resources, identity, access controls, and cloud security configurations.
• Configure switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related networking infrastructure.
• Install, rack, cable, and maintain servers, storage, UPS, and networking gear.
• Participate in on-call rotation and periodic travel.
