Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Warfare Systems is seeking an experienced IT desktop administrator to deliver advanced end-user computing support. You will manage workstation deployments, configurations, OS/app updates, and security tooling within a classified, high‑threat government program.
The role requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility, DoD 8140/CSWF readiness, and strong experience with Windows, Citrix, MECM/SCCM, and STIG-based configurations.
This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.
HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners.
The selected candidate will contribute to a high‑impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission‑critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.
Anticipated salary range: $95,000 – $135,000.
You will provide advanced desktop support and hands‑on troubleshooting for end‑user computing environments, ensuring users have reliable, secure, and well‑functioning workstations, peripherals, and productivity tools.
5+ years progressively responsible IT desktop administrator experience.
Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in the following:
Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 451-Intermediate or be willing to obtain the appropriate credential within 6 months.
