Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer to support DoD product lines. You will join a matrixed development and production team to finalize systems for launch, applying safety standards and risk management across lifecycles.

The role emphasizes handling MIL-STD-882E requirements, hazard analyses, safety tooling, and collaboration with engineering teams to embed fault-tolerant, reliable safety features in complex weapon systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible for Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with MIL-STD-882E and safety programs.
• Experience with hazard analyses and safety tools/databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own safety artifacts for DoD programs.
• Conduct PHA, SHA, FHA, SSHA, OSHA, EHA, HHA, FTA, FMEA analyses.
• Develop verification plans and analyze data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed safety features.
