Job summary

Prime System Solutions is seeking a System and Network Engineer to oversee IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, spanning on-premises and cloud. The role requires hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and virtualization platforms such as VMware.

You will manage networking equipment, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access, while supporting ticketing systems and ensuring security, business continuity, and optimal performance in a fast-paced multi-client

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a System and Network Administrator.
• 2+ years in a helpdesk or technical support role with ticketing systems.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure cloud platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and VPN solutions.
• Strong VMware and virtualization platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Network and System Administration across client infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless tech.
• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud server environments, using Windows Server and virtualization.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments with user and policy management.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPNs for secure remote access.
• Monitor security, perform vulnerability assessments, and assist in disaster recovery planning.
• Provide Level 1–2 support and resolve issues via remote management and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with teams and document configurations and solutions in ticketing systems.
• Monitor performance and generate regular reports on uptime and incidents.
• Administer VMware environments and cloud services, especially Azure.
