Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to act as the technical authority for the company’s core infrastructure, including VMware environments, storage, and hybrid cloud services.

The role covers enterprise backup/DR, Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, M365 and Exchange hybrid topologies, and AI services deployment. You will design, deploy and maintain highly available systems, manage SAN/NAS, and ensure security and performance across on-prem and Azure platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
7–10 years’ experience in enterprise systems administration and engineering, including senior or lead level responsibility.
Expertise in vSphere 7.x/8x architecture and extensive virtualization/datacenter knowledge.
Strong experience with SAN/NAS, enterprise backup & recovery (Veeam), M365 & Exchange, PowerShell and InTune.
Experience troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks; Windows server administration and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, configure and maintain high-availability vSphere environments and VCenter admin.
Manage enterprise storage arrays, networking, capacity planning and VM lifecycle.
Own backup/replication infrastructure and disaster recovery testing.
Administer Windows Server, AD Domain Services, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange hybrid topologies.
Support hybrid Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams; govern Identities and PKI.
