Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a hands-on System Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure and Microsoft cloud environments. The role handles incidents, service requests, and operational tasks across on-premises infrastructure and cloud services including Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Windows Server, VMware, MECM/SCCM, and enterprise backup solutions; you will coordinate with MSPs and vendors and maintain clear, proactive communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of focused experience administering Active Directory and related core services.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 or later.
Hands-on experience with VMware/vCenter.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services with hands-on admin/ops experience.
Hands-on experience supporting Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Working knowledge of MECM/SCCM, including application packaging and software deployment.
Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault.
Experience using infrastructure monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.
Proficiency with PowerShell for administration, troubleshooting, automation, and reporting.
Excellent time management, task management, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Active Directory and related core services, including OUs, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, LDAP integrations, service accounts, and privileged accounts.
Process infrastructure access requests following security controls and least-privilege principles.
Generate operational, audit, inventory, and administrative reports using PowerShell.
Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016 and later.
Monitor server availability, health, capacity, and performance; investigate alerts and coordinate RCA.
Support day-to-day virtualization activities within VMware/vCenter environments.
Maintain administrative access and support enterprise virtualization platforms; manage SAN, NAS, object storage, archiving.
Coordinate with MSP partners on MECM/SCCM packaging, deployment, and Windows patching.
Validate patching results, track exceptions, and follow up on failed deployments.
Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Power Platform).
Support Azure infrastructure and cloud services; troubleshoot hybrid issues.
Coordinate remediation and recovery activities using enterprise backup platforms like Commvault.
Ensure smooth operations of backup jobs and investigate failures.
Maintain documentation and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Work with internal IT teams, MSPs, and vendors; escalate risks when needed.
