Job summary

Planned Systems International is seeking a Sr. System Integration Test Engineer to support the VA IV&V testing program under the IETSS contract. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing test strategies, and executing comprehensive test activities across distributed components.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document test results, and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases while adhering to government standards and security controls.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in software testing and leading test efforts.
• Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases and reports.
• Knowledge of test management and automation tools.
• Experience with SOA, SOAP/REST message structures, FHIR/HL7.
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and comprehend requirements.
• Write detailed test cases to cover the requirements.
• Ensure all requirements are mapped to test cases.
• Understand project architecture, test environment and data needs.
• Conduct thorough testing: positive, negative, validation, regression and data migration.
• Perform system interoperability testing across distributed components.
• Identify and disposition defects per standards.
• Write status & test execution reports and final test analysis.
