Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead IV&V activities for an Automated Test Set program supporting undersea defense systems in Middletown, RI. You will own the integration and V&V strategy across subsystems and collaborate with IPT Managers and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading or contributing to integration and V&V on a DoD/complex engineering program.
• Familiarity with SETR events (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and preparation for reviews.
• Knowledge of configuration management and PLM processes; ability to trace requirements.
• Experience coordinating across IPTs and multi-domain integration (power/electrical, fluid/mechanical, controls/software).

Responsibilities

• Develop and own integration plan for subsystems and the full test set.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across integration activities.
• Oversee subsystem and system-wide integration testing and FCA/PCA readiness.
• Create test plans and procedures for validation of interfaces and system performance.
• Lead and communicate V&V status and results to stakeholders and program leadership.
• Prepare technical content for SETR reviews and program briefings.
