Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a System Health Engineer III/Senior to join our asset management and maintenance support organization. This role applies maintenance best practices, asset analytics, and performance evaluation to maximize equipment life, both inside and outside the substation fence.

You will work with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to analyze health data, identify reliability issues, and develop data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related applied science.
• 5+ years in engineering-related positions for Level III; 8+ years for Senior.
• ABET-accredited degree required; other engineering disciplines reviewed.
• Knowledge of transmission engineering and asset management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering, design, and analytical support for long-range plans.
• Perform engineering tasks using established methods and analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership in engineering decisions.
• Apply knowledge of transmission maintenance and asset management to improve reliability.
• May be required to work shifts.
