Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company seeks a System Health Engineer III/Senior to join our asset management and maintenance support organization, using analytics to maximize equipment life and reliability. You will work with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to translate data into actionable improvements for the power system.

You will provide technical guidance, engage in long-range planning, and support engineering decisions across transmission and asset management domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or related field is required.
• Five years of experience for Level III; eight years for Senior.
• ABET accreditation and approved engineering degrees are specified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, and verifications.
• Interface with customers and other departments to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Enhance department performance through analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee engineering programs and corrective actions to ensure healthy elements.
• Manage small- to medium-scale projects from planning to coordination.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to long-range strategies for site problems.
• Recommend design modifications to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Keep abreast of technology and industry developments.
• Create asset management and business-case documentation.
