Job summary

Framatome is seeking an I&C Safety System Hardware Engineer to support modernization of safety-related systems for commercial nuclear plants. You will translate regulatory requirements into hardware design, develop and review hardware architectures, BOMs and cabling interfaces, and support regulatory documentation throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in related fields, and experience with CAD tools and nuclear safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in I&C safety systems.
• Familiarity with nuclear digital I&C standards and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Translate system and regulatory requirements into hardware design specifications.
• Develop and review hardware designs, architectures, BOMs and cabling interfaces.
• Support seismic, environmental, and EMC test setups and analyses.
• Assist in licensing documentation and CGD plans.
• Work with architects, software, cybersecurity, and licensing teams to ensure integration.
