Job summary

Framatome is seeking an I&C System Designer Engineer in Cranberry Township, PA to lead the technical definition and lifecycle architecture of safety-related control systems for nuclear modernization projects.

You will translate regulatory requirements into system specifications, drive cross-disciplinary integration, and support licensing activities. This role demands strong communication and a deep understanding of nuclear safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety standards and licensing frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for regulator interactions.
• Experience supporting licensing submittals or regulatory audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical definition, integration, and lifecycle architecture of safety-related I&C systems.
• Translate regulatory and customer requirements into clear system specifications and interfaces.
• Lead cross-disciplinary integration across hardware, software, networks, cybersecurity, and HMI.
• Coordinate with licensing, quality, and commercial teams for bids and regulatory meetings.
• Develop lifecycle documentation including requirements, architecture, and safety cases.
• Provide technical leadership during design, verification, and commissioning activities.
