TAP Engineering LLC is seeking a System Administrator Level 2 in Hanover, MD to support enterprise IT systems across servers, storage, networking, and endpoints. You will handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, ensuring high availability and secure operations in a mission-focused environment.

The role requires strong technical expertise, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with collaboration across teams. Active clearance and polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• 10+ years of IT systems and infrastructure experience.
• Experience administering Windows and/or UNIX/Linux systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems.
• Manage day-to-day system operations, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across servers and devices.
• Configure UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Perform capacity planning and system performance optimization.
• Communicate system status to stakeholders and coordinate escalations.
