Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and securing physical access control, CCTV, PSIM, IT systems, and enterprise Windows environments with strong emphasis on AD, STIGs, and virtualization. The candidate will work at a Washington, D.C. area location with potential travel, supporting government and commercial clients while ensuring reliability and performance of critical security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of progressive experience or
• Associates Degree and 8+ years of progressive experience or
• HS Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ years of progressive experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and other electronic security systems.
• Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Perform daily operations including Active Directory management, system logs review.
• Configure and maintain Windows OS and security patches (STIGs).
• Deploy and manage virtualization and VDI platforms (VMware, Hypervisor, Citrix Xen Desktop).
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL databases and storage platforms.
• Create technical SOPs and documentation; train users and support staff.
