Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator 4 to support SES security and IT infrastructure in the Washington, D.C. area onsite. You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot physical access control, CCTV, PSIM, and IT systems, providing Tier 2 escalation support and status updates to management.

The role requires Top Secret with SCI clearance eligibility, and strong experience with Windows AD, patching, and virtualization. Travel and flexible shifts are expected to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with extensive IT experience.
• 7+ years progressive experience as a system administrator.
• Experience with Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong AD hierarchy knowledge and implementation.
• Ability to work onsite; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and test security systems and IT infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 2 escalation support and status to management.
• Perform daily Active Directory management and log reviews.
• Configure virtual environments and VDI platforms.
• Implement STIGs and IA standards on Windows systems.
• Create technical SOPs and train users as needed.
