Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC in Maryland seeks a Level 2 System Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, monitor devices, and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across client/server/storage/network environments.

The role requires 10 years’ SA experience, proficiency with Linux and Windows, an active Top Secret SCI with Fullscope Polygraph, a Bachelor's in a technical field, and an IAT-II cert or higher.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Proven experience with both Linux and Windows-based systems and ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot them in mixed environments.
• Active Top Secret SCI with Fullscope Polygraph is required to be considered for this position.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or five years additional SA experience in lieu).
• Need to possess an active IAT-II cert or higher (Security+, CCNA-Security, GICSP, SSCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide Tier 2 escalation support for complex issues.
• Support for day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization and perform capacity analysis.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management for escalated tickets.
