Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC professional to join our Applications team in Fountain Valley, CA. You will program and set up Swiss CNC machines, develop processes from prints, run first parts, and train customers on CNC programming and operation.

Applicants should have 7+ years of CNC machining/programming experience, strong Swiss CNC background, and ability to read blueprints. Travel up to 50% and a valid driver's license are required. EOE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining/programming experience.
• Strong Swiss CNC experience.
• Strong CNC programming and G-code/M-code knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Programming, setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up Swiss CNC machines.
• Develop machining processes from prints and customer specifications.
• Perform first-part runoffs, time studies and process optimization.
• Train and support customers on CNC programming, setup and operation.
• Troubleshoot machining and application challenges.
• Support Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and other CNC equipment.
• Assist with machine assessments and part-processing recommendations.
• Provide technical support both remotely and at customer locations.
