Job summary

Ford Motor Company in the United States is seeking a Technical Expert LL6 to lead the in-house design and manufacturing process for suspension structural components, including stampings, castings, and forgings. You will drive engineering feasibility, tooling optimization, and PPAP readiness.

You will build design guides, PFMEA/DFMEA, GD&T, and PPAP deliverables, coordinating across suppliers and internal teams. Travel may be required to support new process development and launches.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering required.
• 10 Years of experience in chassis structural design + engineering.
• Experience with suspension structural components (stampings, castings, forgings).
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of an in-house design and manufacturing process for suspension structural parts (stampings, castings, forgings).
• Develop and maintain internal engineering foundation documents including design guides, design rules, Requirements, and interface contracts.
• Create and manage Level 2 technical materials including Process FMEAs, Control Plans, and Gauge/Fixture sign-offs.
