Job summary

Ford Motor Company in the United States is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead the design, development, and in-house process delivery for Suspension Structural Components, including stampings, castings, and forgings. You will develop an in-house design process and manage engineering feasibility, tooling readiness, and manufacturing validation.

You will drive Design for Manufacturing/Design for Assembly reviews, build robust DFMEA/PFMEA artifacts, and lead DOE simulations to optimize

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with chassis design experience.
• Experience delivering DFMEA, PFMEA and PPAP deliverables.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a launch environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of in-house design and manufacturing processes for suspension parts.
• Create and maintain design guides, rules, requirements, and interface contracts.
• Develop DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Sub-component BOMs.
• Lead DFM/DFA feasibility reviews before tool kickoff.
• Drive in-house manufacturing process simulations to optimize feasibility.
• Lead OK to tool, supplier approvals, and rough cut/finish stages.
• Perform root cause analysis and 8D resolution during launch and production.
