Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor to lead survey project delivery and coordinate staff, ensuring quality and timely results. The role includes mentoring junior team members, supporting proposals, and engaging with clients to identify new opportunities.

Ideal candidates offer 4+ years of office surveying experience, a PLS/LSIT preference, and deep knowledge of surveying principles and Autodesk Civil 3D. Hybrid-remote work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of office surveying experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT is highly desired.
• Deep understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficient in CAD software, especially Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Construction staking experience, reading plans, calculations, and cut sheets.
• Experience processing laser scanning data and 3D modeling is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey project delivery and coordinate staff across assignments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals and meetings.
• Support client coordination and identify new project opportunities.
• Travel to various job sites and BKF offices as needed.
• Promote BKF's services for business development.
