Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking an experienced City Surveyor to support our Government Solutions team in Riverside, California. This position involves leading survey project delivery for public agencies and will require technical oversight, staff mentoring, and quality standards assurance.

Applicants should have a degree in Geomatics or a related field, a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, and proficiency in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Civil 3D. The role also contributes to business development and involves travel to various job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; or minimum 10 years office surveying experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is required.
• Ability to process laser scanning data and perform 3D modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey project delivery for public agencies.
• Mentor staff and ensure quality standards in project delivery.
• Prepare legal exhibits including plats and survey reports.
