Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Survey Manager to lead survey operations, manage multiple projects, and mentor staff across offices. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality surveys, maintaining schedules and budgets, and supporting client relationships for growth.

Candidates should have 8+ years in surveying, a strong CAD background (Autodesk Civil 3D), and the potential for travel between BKF offices and sites. A PLS license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years surveying experience with increasing responsibility.
• PLS license preferred and strong knowledge of surveying standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Mentor survey staff and provide technical guidance.
• Review survey deliverables: boundary, ALTA, topographic, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Coordinate field and office activities to meet objectives and quality standards.
• Develop client relationships and support business development.
