Atwell, LLC in the United States is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead the survey group and manage projects from start to finish in a hybrid or remote setting. You will direct drafting, review ALTA surveys, coordinate crews, and apply advanced surveying technology across diverse project scopes.

You will mentor staff, oversee construction-related documentation, and ensure accuracy and timeliness for residential, commercial land development, and renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Survey License (PLS / RLS).
• 8+ years of survey industry-related work experience.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and lead a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans and construction documents.
• Review project survey data utilizing the latest technology and industry software.
• Analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including ALTA surveys and legal descriptions.
• Plan, organize, and supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff members.
• Provide oversight on large-scale ALTA surveys for solar or wind power generation.
• Provide construction-related services and guide junior team members on permits, sheets, estimates, and transmittals.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments on time and within standards.
• Attend paid training and development events and industry conferences.
• Mentor staff with training plans, career planning, and professional development.
