The role emphasizes strong leadership, extensive field experience, and proficiency with total stations, GPS, and data collectors. Travel to project sites and outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Survey Party Chief.
• Proficient with survey equipment including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey crews in the field ensuring accurate data collection.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys as required.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors).
• Perform field calculations and verify data accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project goals.
• Train and mentor crew members on surveying techniques and safety.
