Qualifications

Position Overview:

As a Survey Party Chief operating out of our Allentown, PA office, you will be responsible for leading survey crews in the field, overseeing and conducting various surveying tasks, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of survey data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring efficient and accurate data collection.
• Conduct boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking as per project requirements.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
• Perform field calculations and verify survey data for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Train and mentor survey crew members, providing guidance on surveying techniques and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during field operations.
• Maintain accurate and organized field notes, sketches, and other project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of survey reports, drawings, and other deliverables.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements and technologies to enhance surveying capabilities.
