Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Survey Manager to lead survey teams across one or more project sites. You will guide land mapping, instrument technique applications, and engineering standard input to deliver precise measurements and estimates.

You will oversee work control, layout quality, and as-built checks while coordinating with engineers and superintendents to meet construction requirements and manage resources and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geomatics or related field required or preferred.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in survey or land mapping.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate field installation.
• Ensure crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
• Check as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and payments.
• Assist with quantity calculations as required.
• Maintain calibration/condition of surveying equipment.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineers and superintendents.
• Manage survey department resources and budget.
