Job summary

FlatironDragados seeks a Survey Manager to oversee survey teams across project sites, providing input on engineering standards, land mapping, and the use of technical survey instruments. You will collaborate with engineers and superintendents to deliver precise measurements and timely data.

This full-time role supports an Advanced Technology project, including data center market segments, with responsibilities spanning calibration, topographic surveys, and quantity calculations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping required.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Expert knowledge of land mapping and technical survey instrument techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and installation.
• Ensure crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
• Check as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and quantities.
• Assist with quantity calculations as required.
• Monitor and calibrate surveying equipment.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineers and superintendents.
• Manage survey department resources and department budget.
