Pulice in Texas is seeking an Assistant Survey Manager to oversee survey teams across project sites, providing technical input on standards, specifications, design instructions and land mapping.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a bachelor’s in engineering/geometrics preferred, 5+ years in survey or land mapping, and a valid driver’s license. PLS is preferred; you will coordinate with engineers and superintendents and manage department resources.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping required.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation by field staff.
  • Ensure crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
  • Check as-built conditions using surveying techniques.
  • Provide topographic and cross-section surveys for planning and payment quantities.
  • Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.
  • Coordinate survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet construction requirements.
  • Manage survey department resources and department assigned budget.

As an Assistant Survey Manager, you who will oversee survey teams of one or more project sites, providing technical input regarding engineering standards, specifications, design instructions and land mapping. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to contribute to deliver exceptional results.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff i.e., forms for concrete pours, anchor bolts, piping hangers and supports, etc.
  • Ensure that crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
  • Check as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
  • Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
  • Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
  • Monitor and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.

Who You Are
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
