Bowman in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Survey CAD Technician IV to join our team. You will convert field data into accurate CAD drawings, prepare ALTA survey drawings, and support project delivery with meticulous adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred in survey, geography, architecture or civil engineering; commensurate experience considered.
• 8+ years of survey/CAD experience in land development/land survey.
• Knowledge of common survey concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak, Revit or similar software.
• Surveyor-in-Training certificate preferred; licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings from ALTA surveys for final approval and submission.
• Convert field data into accurate CAD drawings and project documents.
• Perform horizontal and vertical computations for boundary surveys.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Compute layout data for construction stakeouts (buildings, streets, curbs, utilities).
• Perform complex computations related to traverse, boundary analysis, and construction layout.
• Review record plats and deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
• Submit drawings to municipal and jurisdictional agencies for review and approval.
• Interpret client requirements and survey standards in project work.
• Utilize ALTA Land Title Surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, and stakeout procedures.
