Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist III to support the operating room team. You will verify supplies, assemble sterile instruments, and anticipate the surgeon's needs to maintain an optimal sterile field throughout procedures.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in the OR as a surgical technologist, CST certification, and an associate degree in surgical technology. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are required.

Qualifications

• Certified surgical technologist with OR experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain sterile field and anticipate needs of the surgeon.
• Strong knowledge of supplies, instruments, and patient charges.

Responsibilities

• Verify supplies and items on physician preference cards and ensure accurate patient charges.
• Assemble, set up, and sterilize equipment and disposables for procedures.
• Maintain the sterile environment and monitor for breaks in technique.
• Set up sterile field with instruments in a timely manner and track medications, sponges, and sharps.
