Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and supports the procedure.
• Assembles and maintains sterile instruments and supplies.
• Maintains sterile field and monitors adherence to sterile technique.
• Keeps accurate counts of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges.
