Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification and CST/TS-C/CSA or grandfather clause per SB1239.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment and supplies for the next patient.
• Pass instruments and supplies for procedures, assisting the surgeon and team.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for other technologists; orient new staff.
