Job summary

Carle Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. You will prep the sterile field, manage instruments and supplies, scrub in, and mentor other staff as needed.

The role supports diverse specialties and requires BLS within 30 days and Surgical Technology credentials. The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation bonus and expects availability for on-call or variable schedules.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Certificate of Completion: Surgical Technology.
• Associate's Degree: Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with timely, accurate support.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and suture are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub in prior to patient entry.
• Assist in case setup to enable smooth back table and mayo preparation.
• Collaborate with the surgeon to anticipate needs and adjust as required.
• Precept technologists and RNs, scrubbing on a range of cases.
