The University of California is seeking a Sr. Surgical Tech to support the operating room team in Los Angeles.

The role focuses on completing surgical set-ups according to department standards and physician preference cards, maintaining a sterile field, preparing supplies and instruments, and ensuring safe handling of medications. You will anticipate physician needs, implement aseptic technique, prevent retained objects, and follow department policies.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Ability to independently scrub surgical procedures.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency scrubbing in at least two complex surgical specialties/services.
